Ressio Now Offers Embedded Builder's Risk Insurance Through Vertical Insure

We're excited to announce that Builder's Risk Insurance is now available directly inside Ressio, through our partnership with Vertical Insure — an embedded insurance company that integrates coverage into the software platforms people already use.

For too long, securing Builder's Risk Insurance meant stepping outside your workflow. Phone calls, emails, PDFs, back-and-forth with brokers. It's a friction-filled process that can delay project starts and add unnecessary administrative burden to builders who already have enough on their plate.

That changes today.

What Is Builder's Risk Insurance?

Builder's Risk Insurance is standard on most construction projects and is often required before finalizing financing and breaking ground. It protects building projects against losses including accidental property and materials damage, theft and vandalism, and weather-related damage.

How It Works in Ressio

Instead of chasing down a broker before a project can move forward, Ressio customers can now purchase Builder's Risk coverage right inside the platform — at the exact moment they need it. No redirects, no separate logins, no paperwork.

The experience is native to Ressio, which means it fits naturally into the workflow you already use to manage estimates, budgets, and client communication.

As our Co-Founder & CEO Mitchell Kasselman put it:

"Builders shouldn't have to leave their platform to get their project insured. Ressio is the first to embed Builder's Risk Insurance with Vertical Insure, and it's just one more example of how we're removing friction for our builders so they can focus on what they do best."

Why This Matters

Insurance is one of the last steps in project kickoff that still requires builders to context-switch out of their management software. Removing that step isn't just a convenience — it means projects start faster, with greater confidence that coverage is in place from day one.

Brock Noland, CEO of Vertical Insure, shares the same philosophy: embedding coverage at the right moment removes friction and helps builders get what they need without disruption.
